Hopefully each of you have received our recent mailing regarding the Veterans Tribute Garden. We are very excited abut this project, and look forward to having this structure be a permanent place in the Village where we can honor and pay tribute to all of our veterans and their families for the service and sacrifice [...]

Natural Gas Rates

By |2022-02-15T11:07:13-05:00February 15th, 2022|News from Mayor Hovey|

I have received several calls and emails expressing gratitude for the natural gas rates offered by our Village aggregation plan. While natural gas rates continue to rise at alarming rates, the Village, in 2020, secured a low $2.85/mcf rate, good for 4 years, through March, 2024. If you are a member of our aggregation program, [...]

By |2022-01-19T13:23:44-05:00January 19th, 2022|News from Mayor Hovey|

With the sidewalks nearly impossible to use because of the snow build-up, they are often forced to walk in the [...]

Patience, please, with snow removal

By |2022-01-18T11:45:55-05:00January 18th, 2022|News from Mayor Hovey|

Given our limited resources, we are quite proud of the fact that our streets are usually cleared much faster than neighboring communities. Yesterday one of our trucks got [...]
