Kent Road paving to last through the summer

On April 2, Ronyak Paving, Inc., a contractor working on behalf of the Ohio Department of Transportation, began repaving Route 59. Work began at the Portage County line and will continue west to Route 8. Roadwork is expected to last until Aug. 30.

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center Reopens for Season

The Household Hazardous Waste Center located at 1201 Graham Road will reopen for the season on Thursday, June 6, 2024. During the HHW season, collections are on Thursday from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. The center will be open through September 26, 2024. Silver Lake to host family friendly eclipse event
