Ways to Pay your Bill

- Drop off payment in the utility box located in the parking lot or in the box located in the vestibule at Village Hall
- Sign up for our ACH program (no fees apply). Your payment would automatically come out of your bank account on the 20th of every month. If you are already enrolled, there is no need to sign up again.

The Village of Silver Lake purchases its water from the City of Cuyahoga Falls. The Village maintains its own water and sewer systems. The Utility Department is responsible for billing, collection, and customer service for water and sewer service. New residents need to make application for utility service. Water and Sewer Rates
Water and sewer rates are established by Village Council. The current monthly water rate is $5.74 per 100 cubic feet of water used plus a monthly fixed base water charge of $17.91. The current monthly sewer rate is $6.81 per 100 cubic feet of water used plus a monthly fixed base sewer charge of $35.84. The current monthly storm water utility rate is $11.25.

Electric Aggregation Program
The Village of Silver Lake has selected Energy Harbor (former FirstEnergy Solutions) to serve the next term of the Village’s electric aggregation program. The Village has set a fixed rate of 4.89 cents/kWh which will last through April 2025. To learn more about this program, call 866-636-3749 and have your Ohio Edison bill/account number ready.

Natural Gas Aggregation Program
The Village of Silver Lake has established a fixed rate for natural gas with Constellation Energy for members of the Village’s aggregation program. The program offers a fixed rate of $3.933 per Mcf through March 2026 billing cycles. Trash Collection
The Village of Silver Lake is contracted with the Kimble Company for trash & recycling collection. To setup service or change your current service contact Kimble at 1.800.201.0005. For a complete list of recyclable items visit: www.kimblecompanies.com.
Trash Collection in the Village of Silver Lake is held on Fridays. If any of these holidays fall on a weekday, Friday’s trash collection will be moved to Saturday:
Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day
Recycle Services – As part of the enhanced recycling service, Kimble will provide a 65 gallon recycling cart, included in the service rates listed above, at no additional cost. Residents may also continue using the Kimble supplied 18 gallon recycling bin instead of the cart.
Senior Services – to obtain senior service, resident must be 65 years or older. A copy of your driver’s license will be required to verify age and residency. Senior rates are also available to residents with disabilities.
Setback Services – Collection for yard waste and bulk items must be set at the curb for collection. Some portions of Kent Road and Graham Road are not eligible for this service. Contact Kimble for more information.
