All are invited to join the Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony sponsored by Silver Lake Park Board on Friday, April 28 at 1pm at Silver Lake Elementary School. The ceremony will begin inside the school (visitors must check in to enter the school), then children and adults will move outdoors for the tree planting on school property. This year’s tree will be dedicated in memory of longtime Silver Lake resident Gary Kinsey who passed away November 20,2022. He was a much beloved member of the Martha Mary Guild, Silver Lake Garden Club, Silver Lake Historical Society, advisor to Silver Lake Estates and member of the Wesley Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the Cadillac & LaSalle Club. We hope to see many in attendance at this special ceremony.
