For community members unable to cook due to disability or illness, putting dinner on the table can be a daily struggle. For the home bound, those with specific nutritional needs, and our neighbors facing hunger, Mobile Meals is there.

For nearly 50 years, Mobile Meals has been the only resource in Summit County for residents unable to leave their home to access food. Each day, they deliver 1,500 healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners to seniors and home bound individuals. With puree, kosher, gluten-free, cardiac and renal meals available, Mobile Meals can accommodate any diet.

For many signed up to receive meals, the delivery drivers bring much more than nutrition. The friendly visits often bring the only other face clients will see that day. Volunteers and staff members are also able to offer a safety check to monitor changes in the client’s mental and physical health. By providing nutrition, safety and a friendly visit, Mobile Meals allows our home bound neighbors to stay where they are most comfortable.
