Centennial Things

Thank you for your continued support of centennial events. We have had increased interest in buying bricks over the last couple of weeks. 30 bricks have been purchased in that time. Please buy yours at your earliest convenience; sales will continue through March. I hope to have a sketch of the project posted online within a couple of weeks.

Sales of giclee prints of the centennial art painting are also continuing. Only 50 prints have been made, and so far, 12 have been sold. prints are numbered 1/50, 2/50, 3/50 etc., and are signed by both the artist, Jack Mulhollen, and myself. Print #1 is being auctioned off; ticket are available at Village Hall, or by seeing Gary Kinsey. Ticket prices are $10 for one, or 3 for $20.

Information about brick sales and art sales are available on the Village website, www.villageofsilverlake.com, under the “centennial” tab.
For your convenience, all centennial events are listed in the centennial booklet recently delivered to your home. You will find them on the calendar, in the month that they occur.

Again, thank you for your support. It’s going to be a great centennial celebration.
