Resident artist Jack Mulhollen has completed the official centennial painting. It is a beautiful collage of 12 different whiskey painting postcard drawings of events commemorating Silver Lake during its 1st 100 years. The original is now on display in Village Hall. 50 giclee prints will be made of the painting, and are available for purchase by the public. The prints will sell framed for $150, unframed for $70. 10 prints have already been sold. A photo of the painting will soon be placed on our website. If you want to purchase one, please come to Village Hall during regular business hours to do so. Also, print #1 will be the subject of a raffle; tickets are $10 for 1, or 3 for $20, and will be available soon at Village Hall. Should demand exceed 50, we do have an option to have additional prints made. Buy yours now; this is a wonderful opportunity to have a beautiful painting celebrating our 100th anniversary as part of your home decor.
